"And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a wordly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way we do so no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation,
the old has gone, the new has come!"
II Corinthians 5:15-17
How many times have we said, "What I do is my own business", "My life doesn't have anything to do with any one else", and "I'm not hurting any one"? These excuses go right out the window when we consider what a new life in Christ really means. But, we also get to start over when our life seems to be on the wrong track and we suddenly wake up to discover this is not where we want to be.
Starting over is as simple as recognizing our sinful state, confessing it to the Father, repenting and asking forgiveness. No guilt, no working to gain His favor, just trusting Him to make us clean and giving us the strength to start fresh.
If you have "come to your senses", Jesus has made a way for you to be reconciled in your relationship to the Father. Stop what your doing, tell Him what you've realized, and ask His forgiveness. He's already waiting for you because He loves you. He wants to give you a fresh start.
